International Conference in Information and Computing Research
The International conference in computing and information research (iCORE), formerly known as the Information and Computing research colloquium, first started in 2017. The first local conference was held at the University of the Cordilleras, Baguio, Philippines, which was participated by more than 100 participants. With the success of the first conference, the 2nd conference immediately followed in 2018, with National University – Laguna, Philippines hosting the event. Due to the pandemic in 2020, the 3rd conference was postponed to help stop local transmission of the COVID-19 Virus.
The success of the previous conferences was mainly due to the partnerships of various HEIS in the Philippines to promote research and innovation in Information Technology and Computer Science.
